We decided to eat out again, get a little more Canadian type food. There was a subway about 0.5km away. We each got a footlong (bad idea my tummy was grumbling all night, too much food) and a pop/chips. Lots of walking today. Kaatje and I went to a local ‘American’ restaurant in the Tianzifang district. 3 hamburgers and fries, and 2 cokes. The cokes cost us 28RMB ($5CAD). It was good but they are certainly playing up the tourist atmosphere.

So at the top of the stairs, there is a single light so you can obviously see what you’re doing at night. Note that no one else uses this stairwell. For the first few days it was on non-stop, but at night, the way the room is laid out, the light beams in through the kitchen The light itself wouldn’t be so bad if it wasn’t for the other background...
