When you’re traveling with kids, especially a large crew eating out is very expensive. But a great place to eat at a fantastic price – Steak N Shake. We all ate our own meals (each under $4) and 4 kid meals free for $23 taxes in. Man oh man…

Farewell to Peggy’s Cove and Nova Scotia

This has been an amazing trip.  It has inspired a love of history and geography in the girls and it has left us all with several wonderful family memories.  Tonight we went back to Peggy’s Cove and said good bye to Nova Scotia.  We wrapped up the evening with a wonderful fish and chip dinner, topped off with our first taste of Newfoundland fries.
