This morning we woke up around six thirty. I was nervous. We still needed to pack a few more things and without mom it meant Dad and I had to pack. Luckily it was only a few things such as tooth brushes, pillows, and some of Maria’s toys.
We left home around seven forty-five. We crossed the border without any delays, which meant we’d arrive at the campground earlier than planned. As we kept on driving we noticed the wind was increasing terribly, which made it very hard for Dad to drive. But none the less we kept on going. We listened to Taylor Swift and danced in the car.
We stopped for lunch around twelve-thirty. We had sandwiches and juice boxes. Then we took Coco for a walk around to stretch her legs, and we then got back into the car. Only six hours left.
Like any adventure we go on, it would not be complete with watching Finding Dory. Once the movie finished we took another look at Mom’s and Kaateje’s plane ride to Singapore. Dad was amazed at technology, that we could see when they took off, where they were, and when they will land.
We arrived at the campground around 7PM. We had beef stew with bread and butter. We had a great call with Mom and Kaatje and Maria missed Mom terribly. It was time for bed and when everyone was quiet Hailey and I played Harry Potter questions. I won! Hailey went to bed while Dad and I watched a cooking show. Dad then talked to Mom while I got into bed. And I fell asleep. First night in the new trailer.
