Day 2 – Off to North Dakota

This morning we got up at 6AM. Today we needed to drive 1100KM, so the sooner we got on the road the better. We quickly ate breakfast, had a video conference with Mom and Kaatje, then on the road.

Today the wind wasn’t as bad, which made it easier to drive for Dad.

We stopped at around 12:30 for lunch and to let Coco stretch her legs.

When we got to North Dakota the land was very flat, and straight. Sometimes on the highway it felt like Dad could go 50KM without turning the steering wheel.  Dad was also saying that it would be a great place for test driving automated cars.

We made a short stop to get food at 5PM. We still had 3 ½ hours to drive. Today is the longest out of the four days we are driving.

It was late when we arrived at the campground, about 8PM. Dad was excited to be able to finally open the both awnings.  We were all tired after the long day so we all went to bed.

  1. Glad dad had a better drive today. Your new trailer looks awesome. It looks like the weather is being good to you. Here we have rain every day. Have fun.
