Garbage pickup in Shanghai must happen very frequently but I really don’t see the trucks doing it. Maybe late at night? But the process to get the garbage picked up is pretty simple, you just make a big pile by the road. Tonight I see this pile walking back from the girls apartment. In the morning, it’s all gone. No bins and no specific pickup locations it seems.
