Tokyo Day 7 – Seishō-ji Temple

Kaleyn had a later start to the day so we (well me) decided to walk to a local temple. Online it says it is not visited much so nice and quiet. It was a good walk there as you can see below (7.3km there and back).

We met a nice older lady there who was shocked we home schooled – that is not allowed in Japan. She had lots of questions for us. There was just a couple of people there so it was a very peaceful visit..

On the way there and back there was a large police presence on the main street we had to walk. I noticed on the way back it seemed to revolve around a specific building which I looked up to be the Russian Embassy. I believe the presence was for people protesting issues around the Kuril Islands. Kaelyn had 2 castings in the afternoon and was out from 4-8pm. When she came back, we had dinner and Tammy was off to bed.

  1. It looks like Japan has a lot of beautiful old buildings just like you seen in china.
