On Wednesday we received a text from the Bloomfields if we would like to attend a Michigan football game. During the summer Mr. Bloomfield spent some time teaching the girls how the game was played and how to throw a football (you know, when dad tries no one listens).
We have never gone to any professional sporting event, so this was new for all of us.
We arrived at the pickup point at 6:45AM, the Bloomfields had EVERYTHING for the tail gate party. Off we went to Ann Arbor (about2.5hrs away). A quick stop @ Meijers to get some official gear. And then setup of the tailgate – they thought of everything, chips, snacks, eggs, bacon, peameal bacon, potatoes, french pastry. We ate VERY well. And lots of tossing the ball around.
And Mrs Bloomfield surprised Hailey with a cake (the one being hugged), she turns 11 on Tuesday (Sept 29)
Off to the game for 12 kick off. This place was SO huge. 108000+fans inside. And the Wolverines did NOT disappoint. They beat BYU 31-0.
The girls were so excited and loved it, Hailey keeps asking when can we buy season tickets. A great start to Hailey’s birthday week.
