The Cave and Basin National Historic Site is the birthplace of Canada’s national parks. You can read about it here. As you walked up, you see a pole indicating the distances to other National Parks. Being a Wednesday, I had a long day at the office (ie. Starbucks). With Kaelyn’s exciting secret (let’s say she was asked to send in a tape for a Disney movie), we wanted to give her as much time in the afternoon as we could. Plus the weather wasn’t too great. So we decided a nice warm swim after dinner was the best way to end the day.
