This has been an amazing trip.  It has inspired a love of history and geography in the girls and it has left us all with several wonderful family memories.  Tonight we went back to Peggy’s Cove and said good bye to Nova Scotia.  We wrapped up the evening with a wonderful fish and chip dinner, topped off with our first taste of Newfoundland fries.

  This is an outstanding example of the a National Historic Site.  It is beautiful, well maintained and the programming is excellent.  We did the self guided adventure tour ( no additional costs) and the kids became spies in the Citadel.  The comic book provides the back ground story and leads the children to all aspects of the fort to discover clues.  Upon our...
